Delete models
Delete models you no longer require to keep data up to date. You can delete models including their objects.
Prerequisite
You require the Delete access privilege for the groups in which the items are saved.
Warning
In order to restore the status of a database after unintentionally deleting something, please use versioned databases or back up your databases before you delete items.
Select a model in the Explorer tree, for example, and press Delete. To delete several models simultaneously, select the models on the Explorer tab in the Models area.
The model(s) are deleted from the groups. The object definitions are kept and can be reused in other models.
In the Explorer tree, right-click the relevant model, and select Delete with objects. To delete several models simultaneously, select the models on the Explorer tab in the Models area. If you have the Delete privilege for the groups in which the models and object definitions are saved the models and object definitions are deleted.
If objects have occurrences in other models, the object definitions are not deleted.
