Why do connection definitions and connection occurrences exist?
Connections, like objects, exist at the occurrence and definition level.
This enables:
the reuse of connections. This means that as soon as an occurrence is created, all attributes of the connection definition that the occurrence is based on will automatically be reused.
the creation of object relationships at the definition level, for example, in matrix models.
