Why do connection definitions and connection occurrences exist?

Connections, like objects, exist at the occurrence and definition level.

This enables:

  • the reuse of connections. This means that as soon as an occurrence is created, all attributes of the connection definition that the occurrence is based on will automatically be reused.

  • the creation of object relationships at the definition level, for example, in matrix models.
