Use relative cell references
You can refer to another cell in the spreadsheet and use its content.

Open a spreadsheet.
Enter the relevant formula, for example, SUM.
Copy these cells and paste them at another position in the spreadsheet.
The references in the formula have changed:
You have inserted relative cell references. If you insert the calculation cell at another position, the calculation is performed for the new area, as well.
