What does synchronization from SAP Solution Manager to ARIS include?

If you are synchronizing data that does not exist in ARIS:

  • objects will be created and the Name, SAP ID, and SAP function type attributes will be entered.

  • an empty EPC will be assigned to a function and the Name, SAP ID, and SAP model type model attributes will be entered.

    • If you selected Include subordinate items, this EPC will be populated with objects.

    • If a process does not yet exist in ARIS, a function allocation diagram will be assigned to the corresponding object.

    • If a function allocation diagram of the same name already exists, executables and documents are checked, and added, if necessary.

  • an occurrence of the function will be displayed in the parent EPC. The scope information will be included.

If you synchronize objects that do not exist in SAP ® Solution Manager:

  • occurrences (functions) will be deleted in the parent EPC or deactivated depending on the settings.

  • definitions of the object to be deleted will not be deleted.
