When you edit existing model contents, all objects that belong to the process and are linked to the selected object and to each other directly are shown in the first column. You can insert other objects. The SmartDesign configuration determines which object types are allowed in the first column and how they can occur in succession.

Example: You have selected a function in a model of the EPC type. Starting with this function, all events and functions that have a direct relationship with each other are displayed in the first column. Rule objects (AND rule, OR rule, and XOR rule) divide the model into parts, each of which can be edited as a SmartDesign. You can insert other events and functions into the first column in the table.

All other columns display objects that have a relationship with the object in the first column. You can insert other objects. The SmartDesign configuration also determines which object types and relationships are allowed.

Example: In a model of the EPC type, the supplementary columns may contain, for example, input data or output documents.

Adds a row for a new object below the row in which the cursor is currently located.

Deletes the object in which the cursor is currently located.

Moves the object in which the cursor is currently located up one row.

Moves the object in which the cursor is currently located down one row.

Undoes editing steps.

Redoes editing steps that were undone.

Allows you to select object types that can be shown as columns in the SmartDesign table.
