Copy groups within a database
You can copy groups within a database.
Prerequisites
You need the Write access privilege for both source group and target group.
On the Explorer tab, select one or multiple groups in the Models or Objects area.
Click in the selection and hold down the mouse button.
Drag the mouse pointer to the target group.
Release the button.
All subgroups and models of this group are created in the target group. The objects are not copied to the target group.
On the Explorer tab, select one or multiple groups in the Models or Objects area.
Right-click a selection and hold down the mouse button.
Drag the mouse pointer to the target group in the Navigation bar.
Release the mouse button and select Move here.
All subgroups and models of this group are created in the target group. The objects are not copied to the target group.
On the Explorer tab, select one or multiple groups in the Models or Objects area.
Right-click in the selection.
Click
Copy.Right-click the target group and select Paste as > Occurrence copy.
The groups and models are created in the target group. The objects are still stored in their source group.
